Pippa Middleton's Wedding Rehearsal Is Underway!
Pippa Middleton's wedding (i.e. all anyone can talk about) has finally (almost!) arrived. The sister of royalty and her fiancé, James Matthews, are tying the knot tomorrow. As expected, big-day prep is underway, with the couple rehearsing their ceremony today.
The Sun reports that in the past few days, crews have been seen on site at St. Mark's Church in Englefield. Contractors were said to have been unloading lights and chairs, landscapers were spotted mowing the lawn, and security personal have been patrolling the scene. Today, security blocked the venue off for a safe and smooth practice. The hustle and bustle prompted a full-on lockdown as rehearsal guests began to arrive. Among those in attendance were Middleton's parents, as well as both her brother and Matthews' brother.
More big-day details have been revealed too. Land Rovers are said to be escorting the guests from the church to Middleton's Bucklebury home, shares The Sun. As for Middleton's own transportation, rumor has it she'll follow suit of Duchess Kate, arriving to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage. Multiple sources also say that the wedding will be Scottish-themed. "Everything will be Scottish in nature-bagpipes, the lot," revealed a Daily Mail insider. Matthews' family has their own tartan, apparently, which may also be incorporated.
The nuptial menu is posed to be divine, with a very interesting detail-allegedly, the couple's been donated 17 pounds of caviar. The recipes used may also feature a personal touch-inspiration from Middleton's own book, Celebration. The entire production is supposedly being overseen by celebrity-favorite Fait Accompli, with catering from the well-regarded Table Talk.
