Wheat represents bounty and wealth; the horseshoe shape is good luck. Let this decoration work its powers at your ceremony or reception site. To make, you will need a round wire wreath form, a spool of 24-gauge wire, and several bunches of wheat, available at floral shops and farmers' markets. Snip out an 8-inch section of the wreath form and bend to create a horseshoe. Make clusters of six or seven wheat stems, and secure with wire. When you have about a dozen of these clusters, attach them to the wreath form one at a time starting at the top and working toward the center, overlapping and wrapping with wire as you go. Repeat on other side. Tie or glue a wide silk-ribbon bow to the bottom.
