The day was packed with pretty flowers, good food, and a whole lot of fun.
Mandy Moore Engagement Party

It seems like Mandy Moore's friends are just as excited as about her recent engagement to Taylor Goldsmith as she is. In honor of the new bride-to-be, 12 friends, including Minka Kelly, Raina Penchansky, Sarah Gibson Tuttle, Ashley Streicher, Emily Schuman, and Susan Kelechi Watson, celebrated Moore's engagement during a party complete with games, delicious snacks, and lots of love.

Dreamed up largely by business mogul Penchansky, the lunchtime celebration was packed with tasty bites, including sandwiches, tea, and fruit and veggie bowls, and relationship-themed décor. The entire group posted an array of photos from the afternoon on Instagram stories, including shots of the purple-hued floral centerpieces, colorful crowns each guest wore, and games like bridal emoji Pictionary. Although the backdrop of the party included a sign reading "Mandy and Taylor," it looks like this party was just for the ladies.

"Coven vibes for a beautiful afternoon tea party celebrating @mandmooremm," Schuman captioned an Instagram photo of the women standing in a circle around the bride-to-be. "Love any excuse to be surrounded by an inspiring group of women (bonus points when tiaras are involved). And leave it to @rp1313 to plan such a wonderful event and coordinate on-site drone coverage."

Schuman also shared an up-close shot of the gorgeous centerpieces that adorned the lunch table. A mix of roses, hydrangeas, stock, dahlias, and seeded eucalyptus filled chic gold vessels. They're perfect for a tea party-themed event, but we think they'd sit pretty at a wedding reception, too.

But it wasn't just Moore's friends in attendance. Her future mother-in-law also attended the party, and based on an Instagram story shared by Kelly, she could not have been more excited to welcome Moore into her family. "The most beautiful and proud momma in law to be," Kelly wrote. According to E! News, Moore's mother, Stacy, was also in attendance, and gushed about the happy couple. "I got a lot of congratulations from friends and such, and I said, 'You know what, two wonderful people make two wonderful people.' And that's the best I can say. I'm just so happy."

At the end of the afternoon, Moore shared a photo of her group on Instagram along with a heartfelt thank-you message. "My heart bursts for each and every one of these ladies. If you are the company you keep, then I am in excellent standing. Thank you @rp1313 for being the greatest hostess/sister/bff and for giving us all a reason to hand, celebrate and enjoy some delightful gluten-free tea sandwiches (and [champagne flute emjoi]) like ladies do," she wrote.
