"Bachelor in Paradise" Stars Carly Waddell and Evan Bass Are Married
Although the future of Bachelor in Paradise may be uncertain, season three stars Carly Waddell and Evan Bass are still on the path to #foreverlove, and their Puerta Vallarta wedding proves it! The couple were married in a beach ceremony officiated by-who else?-Bachelor and Bachelorette host Chris Harrison himself.
According to E! News, the main event was held on a lawn with a view of the beach and ocean, and colorful décor hung from trees. Bonus: The guest list included fellow Bachelor alums like Kaitlyn Bristowe, Nick Viall, and Vanessa Grimaldi, who were all seated in the front row with a direct view of the proceedings.
The couple's wedding style didn't disappoint. The bride and groom each donned a big-day ensemble that fit the setting, with Waddell in a strapless, form-fitting mermaid wedding dress with a flare at the knee. She kept her hair pulled back for the beachfront celebration. Bass, on the other hand, wore a gray suit.
Reports suggest the couple each read vows for 20 minutes before sharing a sentimental kiss at the altar. But the highlight of the evening? The couple's Neil Lane-designed wedding rings. Bass's ring is a wide platinum band estimated to have cost between $1,200 and $1,500, but the couple pulled out all the stops for Waddell's channel-set eternity band encircled with diamonds. The addition is estimated to have a retail cost of $50,000.
"I think that relationship wise, we're definitely more in love that we ever were before," Waddell said of the upcoming wedding back in April, in an interview with E! News. "I think we fall more for each other every day which is fun. It was always good, [but] it's just that as we got to know each other better and better. We fell for each other even harder." Aww. Congratulations, newlyweds! We can't wait to see the big day when it airs later this year.
