Wendy and Sherrat: Napa, California
Wendy and Sherrat
During a party for work, Sherratt Reicher, who worked for the Los Angeles Raiders, looked across the room and noticed a woman he'd never seen before. Nudging a coworker, he pointed to the brunette and boldly announced: "I'm going to marry her." Sherrat made inquiries and, three weeks later, was introduced by a mutual friend to Wendy Gottlieb. A year into the romance, the Raiders moved to Oakland and took Sherratt with them. Finally, a year and half after Sherratt moved, Wendy was offered a job with the Raiders and joined him. One year to the day after Wendy had arrived, he proposed.
A photo booth rented for the event encouraged spontaneity .
"We were able to get more candid pictures than a photographer would have," says Wendy.
The Wedding Party
The couple also hired a professional photographer to take more-traditional photos. Here, Wendy and Sherratt pose with their wedding party.
