Green Centerpieces
Floral designer Lewis Miller, of LMD Floral Events Interiors in New York City, shows how to bring the feel of a lush garden to your reception by creating a beautiful green table arrangement infused with hints of white. Begin by gathering several mini bunches of flowers and greens, such as stems of freesia, jonquils, spray roses, green 'Weber Parrot' tulips, viburnum, and asparagus fern. Wrap the stems of each bunch with five to seven bush ivy leaves or scented geranium leaves. Make seven to nine bundles, group them together in a round formation, and encircle the entire bouquet with handfuls of tree fern (it may help to have some assistance with this step); tie with twine. Fill a glass compote halfway with water, add flower food, and then set the arrangement into the compote.
