Taghazout, Morocco
We have four words for you: surf camp in Morocco. Far out, right? The boys can book with Surf Maroc, a reliable outfitter in this fishing village. The breaks are good for riders of all levels, but if they tire of hanging ten, they can catch a taxi to Agadir to wander the souks, where he can score you a piece of artisan jewelry. The best value for lodging is the oceanfront Villa Mandala, which has nine rooms (each with its own distinct decor), a rooftop yoga pavilion, and a pool.
When to Go: Serious waves hit during the still-sunny winter months, but if his group consists mainly of newbies, they'd be wise to aim for summer.

Green Mountain Falls, Colorado
Even if the fellas aren't hard-core mountain men, they'll be more than stoked to set up camp in the new Outlook Lodge. A restored Victorian retreat, it comes with Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and modern furniture. If they book all six rooms, they'll have the run of the place. They can hike in Pikes Peak National Forest, raft the white waters of Royal Gorge (American Adventure Expeditions runs guided trips), or cast a line for trout.
When to Go: The lodge is open year-round, but Green Mountain Falls offers the most varied activities during summertime.

Private Railcars, U.S.
There are obvious perks to a party-bus, but they're not the classiest of rides. Our solution? Chartering a private railcar. L.A-based American Railway Explorer has three refurbished 1950s railcars on which your groom and his friends can mug like old-timey politicians. Visit the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners' site and scan listings for railcar charters across the country.
When to Go: The Golden State is a year-round destination; if they'd rather hop on elsewhere, check local tourism-board websites for the best times to travel.
