Everything You Need to Know About Pippa Middleton's Upcoming Wedding to James Matthews
The bride will have a very special bridesmaid.
Kensington Palace has already confirmed Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' wedding date (Saturday, May 20th) and location (St. Mark's Church Englefield in Berkshire), but now the royal residency is revealing the celebration's guest list. Let's just say it lives up to our hopes and dreams.
According to Us Weekly, Prince Harry will be in attendance, as will the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Though Duchess Kate won't be the maid of honor and will likely be doing a reading instead, she has an adorable replacement (and protégée). Princess Charlotte is taking on a bridesmaid role, and her big brother is starring as a ring bearer.
Once the ceremony ends, attendees will migrate to Middleton's home in Bucklebury. The focal point of the reception will be a tent located in Middleton's parents' garden, but there's plenty of party room elsewhere on the property, which extends a full 18 acres. If you're thinking that the event sounds like the definition of classy, that's because it will be. A source told Us Weekly that Middleton "doesn't want it to be too expensive or look gaudy. Classic and elegant are two of the words she used to describe it."
The Celebrate author and party expert has been fully involved in wedding prep. "Pippa has a specific vision and feels she's learned enough about planning to get stuck into it herself rather than handing it all over to a planner," the source said.
