A behind-the-scenes step-by-step on assembling the take-home gift she offered to friends and loved ones at her celebration.

Of all the things we love about Lauren Conrad's wedding to William Tell this past weekend (check out the current issue of US Weekly
), we're partial to one very special detail: her favors, a collaboration between Lauren and our editors here at Weddings. After featuring her on our Style Issue cover, we worked with the bride to develop a favor that would be personal to the couple and fun for their guests. She told us that she and William would often play Gin Rummy when they first starting dating, so we came up with a game night favor box that the pair gifted to each couple at the wedding. (We also think it'd be an adorable welcome bag, too!) Click through our behind-the-scenes photos to see how we put it all together.

Big-Day Bites
First, we packed each wooden box with bags of pretzels, peanuts, and sour apple gummies, all sealed with a custom sticker. Because, well, what's a game night without snacks?

Then we added handfuls of wooden strands as cushioning.

Made For You
Each box contained a custom deck of cards emblazoned with the couple's wedding date and that arrow and apple logo, a fun play off of the groom's full name, William Tell.

Inside Joke
We also designed a fold-out card explaining the rules to a few of Lauren and William's favorite games, each with punny names such as "Go Wish" and "Crazy In Love Eights."

Friendly Competition
And of course, we included a custom-designed notepad for keeping score.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Finally, before shipping the favor boxes off to California, we labeled each one with a sticker that read: "Thanks for playing! Love, the Tells."
