Born in Ireland and raised in South Africa, the wedding dress designer has also called both Hong Kong and London home. Deane's globetrotting has consistently served as the inspiration for virtually all of her creations (her Spring 2018 collection was titled "Santorini"), in both silhouette and detailing—and that's really saying something. She's been in the design business since 2005, consistently creating gowns at the top of bride-to-be's wish lists. Known for their elegant, simplistic shapes, subtle (but stunning!) embellishments, and feminine lace, her designs always bring a well-traveled, exotic vibe to every bride who dons a Catherine Deane wedding dress. The designer's most recent wedding dress collection, which debuted at Spring 2019 Bridal Fashion Week, was no exception. Filled with plenty of her signature lace and several structured satin numbers, this elegant, fashion-forward bridal collection is sure to please any bride searching for the perfect destination wedding dress. Consider a flowy A-line number with a layered skirt or a beaded sheath for a ceremony in the sand. Staying stateside for your nuptials? There's a dress for you here, too. We particularly like the off-the-shoulder wedding dress with a sexy side slit or the lace gown with sheer long sleeves for big city nuptials. One of these looks will make you feel like you've jetted away to exchange vows—or, at the very least, they'll make you feel like the honeymoon came early.
