Everything We Know About Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's Engagement
Love is in the air for the Beckham family— Victoria and David's oldest son, Brooklyn, revealed that he asked his now-fiancée Nicola Peltz to marry him, People reports. The model and photographer quietly popped the question about two weeks ago, and he is already excited to begin this new chapter with his bride-to-be. "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes," he wrote on Instagram. "I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."
Nicola, actress known for her role in the Transformers franchise, shared how much her fiancé means to her in her own sweet tribute on Instagram—and she gave a shout-out to another Beckham family member in the process. "You've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby," she wrote. She also thanked Brooklyn's sister for helping to capture the moment. "Thank you Harper for this pic," Nicola added.
The whole Beckham family showed their love and support for the newly engaged couple, including its patriarch. David shared the following message on Instagram: "Congratulations to these two beautiful people as they begin this exciting journey together. We are so happy for you guys."
While the couple is obviously in the early stages of wedding planning, it is safe to say that Nicola has one of the industry's most acclaimed designers at her fingertips: her soon-to-be mother-in-law. She even sported a design from Victoria's spring and summer 2020 collection in the engagement photo, E! News reports. Fashion aside, the designer's relationship with her future daughter-in-law is stronger than ever. "We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x," Victoria wrote on Instagram. Nicola expressed her gratitude, responding: "I love you so so much Victoria, I'm the luckiest girl."
