While the British royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is still on everybody's radar, it's time to take a moment and reflect on the wedding of American royalty: Barack and Michelle Obama. The latter just shared the most touching tribute to her husband on Instagram and it'll make your day.

This morning, Michelle took to the social media platform with a throwback photo from their wedding reception-specifically, of the couple doing their garter toss. Their smiles seem to say it all, but apparently there's more to the story. "You can't tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold," Michelle's caption explains.

But Barack was a total trooper and nothing could stop him from enjoying the incredible occasion. "Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night. Twenty five years later, we're still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can't imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else." We're not crying, you are.

Earlier this week, Michelle shared that she'd be posting photos and memories on social media that will play a part in her upcoming book, Becoming. Does this mean we can expect to hear more about her wedding and relationship with Barack? Here's hoping, especially if the former FLOTUS dishes on her off-the-shoulder wedding dress.
