Editorial Guidelines Updated on September 20, 2018 Share Tweet Pin Email Trending Videos Modern Lodging Courtesy of Airbnb For your bachelorette weekend, consider booking a rental-by-owner property listed on sites, such as, Airbnb, Home Away, or Vacation Rental by Owner ("VRBO"). That way, no matter how popular your bachelorette party destination has become (the official hottest cities for celebrating are listed on the following slides), you're guaranteed a home that you can call your own for the weekend (not a hotel that you might share with competing bachelorette parties), a gracious host, and a sleepover-style celebration. A large, spacious house encourages bonding, which is great for bridesmaids who haven't had a chance to get to know each other. And, with the average cost of being a bridesmaid closing in around $1,695, you'll likely save your ladies some money, as all of these listings total less than $260 per night. Before diving in, take note of the following: All rental properties are listed on Airbnb for consistency, and the listings are for "entire home" bookings. You don't want a family of four sitting down to dinner on the first floor, while you're blaring Beyoncé upstairs, for example. The following places sleep at least 11, according to the host, or 10, if a viable property for 11 did not exist in the city because the average wedding party includes 10 bridesmaids. The rate was calculated based on a Thursday, May 19th 2016—Sunday, May 22nd 2016 visit and includes all applicable service and cleaning fees and taxes. Always confirm the homeowner's policy on both pets and smoking before booking to avoid jeopardizing your security deposit. Most properties prohibit both. Don't be misled by the bedroom count. Several units supplement sleeping arrangements with air mattresses and pull out couches. You can assume that all properties provide Wi-Fi access, unless otherwise noted. 01 of 15 Atlantic City, New Jersey Courtesy of Airbnb Location: South Kingston Avenue Ranking: 7th most popular Rate: $97 per person per night for a party of 11 Security deposit: $250 Maximum occupancy: 16 Minimum stay: one night Layout: eight bedrooms; four and half bathrooms Atlantic City may be the butt of every last casino (and New Jersey) joke, but this eight-bedroom house, just 30 yards from the boardwalk and beach is no laughing matter.
