It was every bit as amazing as we expected.

Pippa Middleton is a Middleton no longer! Middleton and fiancé James Matthews have officially tied the knot! The pair, who got engaged last July, just said "I do" at St. Mark's Church Englefield, and from the guest list to the wedding dress it certainly looks like exactly the fairy tale celebration we were expecting.

As expected, Duchess Kate, Prince William, and Prince Harry were all on site. Princess Charlotte made an adorable bridesmaid and Prince George was a pretty cute page boy. One guest who wasn't in attendance at the celebration? Prince Harry's girlfriend, Meghan Markle, according to The Guardian. Although it was rumored that tradition would keep Markle from attending the ceremony, we had high hopes that she would join her royal beau for the church ceremony.

As expected, while Englefield parish members are technically permitted to attend weddings at their church, security for the event was tight enough to keep the casual observer well away from the proceedings. (It's probably a good thing we never bought those plane tickets.) The bride previously described her ideal wedding as classic and elegant, and has remained closely involved in all the details of her wedding day, from working with a florist to planning out that dream wedding look.

But there's no detail we've been more excited to see that Middleton's wedding dress. The bride caught the whole world's attention in the chic sheath Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen she wore for Duchess Kate's wedding six years ago, and it looks like she stuck to her signature style for own big day. Wedding dress designer Giles Deacon crafted a sophisticated, handmade gown for the younger Middleton's celebration, and the result? Nothing less than stunning. The lace wedding dress featured a high neckline, delicate cap sleeves and gorgeous open-back detail, topped with a beautiful veil over her classic updo.

"I was thrilled to work with Pippa on her wedding dress," Deacon said in a statement, according to E! News. "The bespoke silk cotton lace was hand appliqued to create an illusion of the dress having 'no seams.' The lace bodice is embroidered with pearl detailing over an organza and tulle underskirt, which has layer upon layer to enable a floor sweeping movement." The designer added that working with the bride to be was an honor. "It's a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London and a real testament to Pippa's support of British fashion."

This is certainly one wedding celebration that stood up to all the hype! Congratulations to the newlyweds. We can't wait to see even more details from the big day-and maybe even a snapshot or two from the honeymoon.
