This azalea-pink Spanish colonial mansion is right at home in Mérida's pastel-washed historic town center on the Yucatán Peninsula. Inside, the 17 guest rooms are filled with solid cedar woodwork and painted tile floors. Taking black-and-white portraits is out of the question at this Crayola-centric former motel, which is situated in plain sight of the scenic San Jacinto mountains. Hold a ceremony and cocktail hour on the courtyard's lawn, then have up to 200 people in one of the ballrooms for tapas, scallops, and ibérico pork by James Beard Award-winning chef Jose Garces.
