On the eve of her and David Beckham's 20th wedding anniversary, the prospect of being an empty nester gave the fashion designer pause.

Victoria and David Beckham recently celebrated 20 years of marriage with a weekend trip to France. The romantic kids-free excursion in Paris even included a private tour of Château de Versailles—the definition of the perfect couple's getaway. But, the fashion designer and mother of four revealed that, ahead of the trip, she actually felt pretty nervous (for an understandable and incredibly relatable reason).

She told The Telegraph, "‘I said to David, 'God, what will we have to say to each other when it's just us?' But we talked and laughed the whole time, and not even about the kids or work. What a relief—we'll be okay, even when they've all left home."

The former pop star may have been worried about reconnecting with her spouse sans children, but if David's recent gestures of support are any indication, the duo has nothing to worry about. "A lot of love for mummy this afternoon. Well done @victoriabeckham we are so proud as always," the former professional soccer player wrote on Instagram to honor his wife for the debut of her newest fashion collection.

Victoria has also taken to social media on numerous occasions to express her love and commitment to David. On their anniversary this summer, she posted a slideshow of images along with the caption, "20 years today. I love you so much xxxxx Kisses x." Beyond taking to social media to express their love, David Beckham has given the former Spice Girls singer 14 different engagement rings over the years as a token of his unending affection.
