Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton May Be Getting Married Sooner Than We Think
Is this what the truth feels like, Gwen?
We know just what you're thinking: These rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's engagement have been swirling for months now. But new details have emerged-namely, that The Voice judges have reportedly hired a wedding planner. TMZ says celebrity event planner Jerri Woolworth has been tapped for the celebration. Though the planner declined to comment, Woolworth's resume boasts events for the CMAs, the NFL and the NHL-so if it's true, you know it's going to be good.
Just two days ago, People quoted a source as saying, "They are not engaged yet," but that "everyone is expecting it to happen at some point." The two began dating in the fall, and we predicted they'd get engaged sometime this year. Shelton's divorce from Miranda Lambert was finalized last year, while Stefani and Gavin Rossdale officially divorced four months ago. Ever since then, she and Shelton have seemed to get more and more serious.
"Next thing I know, I wake up and she's all I care about, and I'm wondering if she feels the same about me," Shelton said to Billboard last month. As Stefani said in her recent cover interview for Cosmopolitan's September issue, "We were both having trust issues, as you would if you were us. It was like, I have so many problems. How can I now be getting into another potentially huge problem? What am I doing?"
The singers even collaborated on a song, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," for Shelton's album, If I'm Honest.
So will wedding bells be the next music Stefani and Shelton make together? Only time will tell. In the meantime, please enjoy this adorable clip of Shelton gushing about his relationship with Gwen on last night's Late Night With Seth Meyers.
