After weeks of keeping mum, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have finally confirmed their engagement. The future husband and wife broke the news by sharing intimate snapshots from their colorful, family-filled engagement party, which took place in India, Chopra's home country.

Just last week, rumors that Jonas and Chopra were headed east to introduce their families began to circulate. Over the weekend, though, it became clear that the gathering was more than a casual get-together. On Saturday, both the pop star and actress let the world know that they really are engaged, and that they'd already celebrated the momentous occasion with their closest family and friends.

The fiancés posted matching photos showcasing Chopra's giant engagement ring on Instagram. Jonas captioned his, "Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love," while his bride-to-be captioned hers, "Taken...With all my heart and soul." The couple also shared identical slideshows from their traditional Indian engagement party. "The only way to do this...with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings," Chopra wrote. Jonas expressed similar feelings: "Prayer, family and loved ones as the foundation to this new chapter." People reports that the event blended traditional and modern elements, including a Hindu prayer ceremony, plus custom "NP" monogram décor.

It's clear from the photos that Jonas is fully embracing Chopra's culture. Meanwhile, his relatives are embracing their newest addition. His brother, singer Joe Jonas, plus his brother's fiancée, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, both re-grammed the couple's engagement confirmation to officially welcome Chopra to the family. "Wow. First I'm blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such an beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law," Turner wrote on her post. "I'm so excited to welcome you into the family @priyankachopra. I love you both."
