At a young age, Elie Saab knew he wanted to be a dressmaker. In fact, when he was nine, he was already designing clothes for his sisters. As he grew, so did his clients, to the women in his neighborhood in Beirut. At age 18, Saab opened his atelier in Beirut. Soon enough, high society ladies desired couture Elie Saab gowns. He first showed his collection in Paris in 2000 and has been making gorgeous gowns ever since. Stars like Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, and more have all worn his stunning dresses on the red carpet. As for his wedding line, which officially launched last season, Saab delivers similarly dreamy, ethereal designs. His first-ever exclusively bridal collection made a splash during Spring 2017 Bridal Fashion Week, and his new Fall 2017 collection is no exception.
The newest wedding dresses from Elie Saab were released following Bridal Fashion Week. For the feminine, delicate designs, Saab used a range of materials, like lace and tulle, complemented by beading, sequins, embroidery, and 3-D floral appliqués. We're loving the long-sleeve wedding dress trend, which can be found throughout this collection. Though girly, Saab incorporated some sexy elements into this fall collection, like illusion dresses, high slits, and open backs. Take a look at Elie Saab's latest wedding dress collection here.
