This Is What Your Wedding Looks Like When You're the Son of a Billionaire
How luxe would your wedding be if you had a huge budget? For one Armenian groom and his bride, the answer was very. Karen Karapetyan, the son of Armenian real estate mogul and billionaire Samvel Karapetyan, and his wife Lilit, a social media star, just threw the most over-the-top celebration that we've ever seen. A scroll through social media reveals photos from the incredible event, and let's just say that it blows Pippa Middleton's wedding out of the water.
According to Daily Mail, the couple held their ceremony at Moscow's Armenian Apostolic Church in front of 200 guests. They then continued the day with a reception at Safsia, a banquet hall. The bride wore a dazzling Zuhair Murad gown with a full skirt, illusion back, and short sleeves. She complemented her princess look with big, glitzy jewelry, like star earrings, a celestial necklace, and lots of shiny rings. Her bouquet may have been the only simple thing from the entire wedding-it was small, classic, and white. Her hair was worn down in waves.
Multiple accounts on Instagram have circulated images from the lavish event-just search #karenlilitwedding. From them, you can view the wedding's jaw-dropping details, including tons of sparkles, lots of pink, and oversized everything. The cake alone was gigantic, and towered over the Karapetyans. There were huge floral installations, many of which were literally dripping with crystals. The couple also had their initials hung from a flower wall, and a large display of food. According to Daily Mail, the entertainment was prestigious too-well-known Italian and Russian musicians took the stage to perform.
