9 Dog Breeds That Look Like Puppies Even When They're Fully Grown

9 Dog Breeds That Look Like Puppies Even When They're Fully Grown

Puppies are irresistible. We fall in love with their big eyes, little button noses, fluffy tails, and clumsy paws. And yet, like any pet, puppies grow up and turn into dogs. Some breeds, like the Old English Sheepdog or Great Dane, will grow to become larger in size than most people. But not all dogs are destined to become giants. There are some breeds that stay small in size even when they're fully grown. You may want a forever puppy if you are used to smaller animals. Maybe you have a small apartment or just want a canine companion that you can easily carry along with you anywhere you go. Small dogs are also great for families with young children or those of senior age who are best matched with a breed they can physically handle. Fortunately, some specialty dog breeds are mixed to look like puppies throughout their entire lives—and they are sure to melt your heart the second you lay your eyes on them.

When it comes to your wedding reception, centerpieces are a must-have. But because flowers come in many different shapes, sizes, and styles, choosing the right centerpieces is a task most brides and grooms find pretty difficult. Even with a great florist in your corner, it can be difficult to decide what you really want. If you're at a loss for which combination of blooms make the most sense for your celebration, consider the classics instead. Centerpieces made entirely of traditional wedding flowers—like roses, hydrangeas, and peonies—always look beautiful.

Whatever you do, don't confuse "classic" centerpieces for "boring" ones. If you're looking for arrangements with plenty of visual interest, you can still work with classic blooms. One of our favorite ways to make a traditional arrangement unique is by introducing a pop of color in the form of a bright pink peony or a pastel blue hydrangea, which will provide a little bit of color to an otherwise understated centerpiece. Here, Lark Farnum Design arranged a mix of pale pink peonies, garden roses, and hydrangeas to stunning effect. In all-white, the flowers would have felt incredibly formal, but the softer blush hue kept things feeling light and romantic.

The most important thing to take away is that the possibilities associated with using classic wedding flowers endless. If you're committed to working these long-favored blooms into your reception's décor, then you'll be happy to know that we pulled together some of our all-time favorite classic centerpieces, and each arrangement is somehow prettier than the last. Click through here to see the various ways you can manipulate them into the perfect table décor for your day.
