Floral Hair Accessories
Flower crowns have some serious competition. As it turns out, there are a million ways to wear flowers (real or faux!) in your hair on your wedding day, but we plucked our top three from a few of our favorite designers. First up? The stunning silk flower headpieces at Marchesa. Voluminous rosettes and cascading vines gave the models' upswept buns—which hairstylists achieved using Moroccanoil products—garden vibes.

Reem Acra replaced the standard, flat flower crown with baby's breath tiaras that were more regal than bohemian.

Lela Rose also got on board with the cascading floral trend by looping flower vines around models ears and around low buns.

Bold Lips
Natural lip colors will never go out of style, but many designers chose to pair bold, rich lipstick hues with their newest designs. The result? A shock of color that's romantic and chic, never jarring. Take David's Bridal's Fall 2018 collection, for instance. Makeup artists polished off more fashion-forward designs, like this cropped two-piece wedding suit, with a pop of hot pink on the lips.

Soft Waves
There's a reason why dreamy, soft waves have graced runways (bridal and couture!) for seasons—loose, ethereal curls exude pure romance. Of course, there's always room for variation, especially within a trend as pervasive as this. At the Bliss by Monique Lhuillier presentation, Moroccanoil Artistic Director Kevin Hughes used Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray to create beachy waves. The casual look perfectly offset the feminine wedding dresses.

Soft waves also cropped up on Oleg Cassini's runways in the form of barely-there, fallen out waves.

Laure de Sagazan debuted her own take on soft waves, with stylists loosely curling the hair before pinning it back into a simple and elegant half-up, half-down look.

Don't toss that multi-toned palette yet, though. Berta sent models down the runway sporting a coppery eye that deepened into burnt bronze at the outer corners.

Fresh Updos
There's so much more to wedding updos than the basic ballerina bun or chignon. Hair stylists at Inbal Dror sent long-haired models down the runway in loose top-knots with lots of baby hairs around the face, but brought the look together with structured metal bun-cuffs.

The hair at the Ines di Santo runway featured a vintage-inspired beehive updo, but was made new again with some strands of hair left hanging free.

Monique Lhuillier's models walked down the runway with chic low buns that didn't skew too precious. The secret? Allowing natural wisps and bumps to show through.
