Watch: These College Football Players Teamed Up On One Epic Proposal
You HAVE to see the video.
Samford University junior linebacker Deion Pierre "won twice" this weekend: First, with a win against Virginia Military Institute, and then with an engagement to his girlfriend, Jasmine Armani-and his fellow football players teamed up to help.
In fact, the entire proposal was orchestrated with the help of his teammates. After their game, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran started blaring over the loudspeaker, and the Bulldogs (of Birmingham, Alabama) circled around Pierre's future fiancé, Jasmine Armani, in the middle of the field and serenaded her with the song (and a choreographed dance)-football gear and all. Pierre walked through the circle, took off his helmet, and got down on one knee as his teammates placed their roses around the two and proposed. She, of course, said yes, and the entire team erupted and started chanting, "She said yes!"
Though "very" surprised, Armani beamed alongside her future husband, posing for photos following the proposal. When asked how he felt, Pierre said he "won twice today." Now that's what we call a team effort!
