Sandy and Craig's Snowy Celebration

Sandy headed out to a happy hour fundraiser at a bar in Hoboken, New Jersey, back in 2010 with the intent on bringing home enough money so her running team could compete in an upcoming race. Little did she know, she'd also meet her future husband, Craig.

Three year's later, Sandy and Craig celebrated their love during a joyously white wedding weekend in Vermont that even Winter Storm Nemo couldn't dampen.

Sandy and Craig both grew up skiing in Vermont and the bride's family is deeply rooted in the snowy state. "Woodstock, in particular, embodied that quintessential 'Vermont feel' that Craig and I love," said Sandy. It also captured their love of the outdoors and offered lots of activities for their adventurous guests to enjoy all weekend.

The couple took portraits at an historic covered bridge in Woodstock prior to the ceremony so they could enjoy the cocktail reception. "To say it was cold out is an understatement!" said Sandy. "But props go to the photographers and videographers who stood out there for hours on end—never complaining!"

Big-Day Blizzard

sandy-craig-rw0513-072.jpg

Historic Winter Storm Nemo came raging through Vermont just before the wedding weekend, but that didn't stop loyal friends and family from trekking to Woodstock for the welcome dinner the night before the big day. The stormy night, however, made way for blue skies for Saturday's cozy ceremony with loads of snow on the ground. Wisely, the duo planned to say 'I do' indoors at St. James Episcopal Church.
