Johnny Depp and Amber Heard might be pretty private compared to other celebrity couples, but they've still swept us away with some adorable moments throughout their first year of marriage. Here, just a few of our favorites!

Depp thanking Heard for dealing with his crazy pirate antics.

As Depp accepted the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, he thanked none other than the love of his life, Heard. "I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can't be easy," Depp said sweetly about his various acting roles. "It's hard for me-it's got to be hard for her."

When they matched on the red carpet.

At the Black Mass red carpet, Depp and Heard were spotted coordinating in red and black. People called it a "slightly-goth-meets-medieval vibe," we call it #relationshipgoals.

When the pair arrived at the premiere of Heard's film, The Danish Girl, in another set of matching outfits, it became clear that these two are making their way through their first year of marriage in style.

When Johnny Depp brought chivalry back.

Depp never fails to make Heard feel like a princess. At the Met Gala in 2014, the true gentleman helped his lady up a steep flight of steps as she graced the red carpet in a pair of nude stilettos.

When they spent part of their vacation helping people.

Depp and Heard make most of their appearances on the red carpet, supporting each other in various films, but this time, they charmed us by lending a helping hand to those in need. The newlyweds took a short trip to Rio de Janeiro with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to help fit more than 200 people with hearing aids so that they could hear for the very first time.

"The reaction somebody has when they hear for the first time, in this case, you see it light up-changes their whole face," Heard told the Associated Press. "Just to be a small part of that for one moment, to see someone's life change in front of you, it's moving to say the least."

You'll need a few tissues before you watch the video that Inside Edition released of the special moment.
