Emily Blunt Reveals the One Thing She Would Change About Her Wedding to John Krasinski
It has to do with her big-day beauty look.
Wedding regrets are more common than you'd think—even for celebrities. And for Emily Blunt? There is one detail from her and her husband John Krasinski's nuptials that she thinks deserves a redo. According to Entertainment Tonight, the actress said that an unfortunate beauty decision still plagues her to this day. "I got a bad spray tan," she said on the Late Late Show with James Corden. "I would probably change that. 'Cause I look at the pictures and it just has an orange hue that is unnatural to normal skin tones."
After James asked what kind of spray tan is was, she admitted that "it was do-it-yourself—I was on a budget on my wedding day, I don't know why. It was a bit patchy. And it stinks! And it was a very hot day, so if you stink and have a spray tan...," she said. The bride shared that her skin's stark contrast to her wedding dress intensified the issue. "I was wearing white, just seeping orange," she told the host. "Oh, it was terrible."
Even with the slight beauty mishap, it is safe to say that her husband of nearly one decade has nothing short of admiration for his bride to this day—personally and professionally. In a previous interview with Vanity Fair, the actor shared that he is in awe of her talent. "The air changes in the room when she starts doing what she does," he said.
John continued by sharing that when she is in her element in the acting world, her power shines through. "It's so honest and so pure and so powerful. It's like a superpower that she can just unlock and do so specifically with not many attempts," he noted. "For me, I love acting, and I'm so lucky to be doing it. But she's on another plane."
