One lucky couple tied the knot on Long Island last weekend and their wedding featured one truly incredible detail: A surprise performance from Dave Matthews, who showed up just in time to sing a few tunes for the newlyweds. Matthews arrived to perform several early Dave Matthews Band hits for the happy pair, according to Billboard. The quick set included tunes "What Would You Say," "Ants Marching," and "Crash Into Me," and we can only imagine how wild the gathered wedding attendees went over the wedding surprise! SEE LADY GAGA'S PERFORMANCE AT THIS $10 MILLION WEDDING The three-track performance was definitely an extra-special stop for Matthews-he and his full band are on their first hiatus since the early 90s after taking a year off from touring, and Matthews himself only recently wound down an acoustic tour with fellow performer and bandmate Tim Reynolds. While there's no footage of the moment online just yet, we can imagine the experience was pretty awe-inspiring for the newlyweds and their wedding guests alike. Our next big question is this: Who coordinated the surprise? Right now our bets are on the father of the bride-this sounds like just the kind of move a proud parent would want to pull for a much-anticipated wedding day! Was this page helpful?
