The holiday season is well on its way, and if you're planning a winter wedding, you may be thinking about ways to infuse your celebration with a little holiday cheer. One of the best ways, according to wedding planners, is through your favors. But what goodies should you send your guests home with? Here, three of our favorite wedding professionals share the tried-and-true holiday-inspired wedding favors they love the most. Here's hoping that their ideas will inspire your own seasonal gifts.

Jingle Bells

If you ask wedding planner and stylist Jessica Sloane, there's no greater favor than a classic jingle bell. "At a wedding I did during the holidays a few years back, we gave each guest an antique gold jingle bell. They were used for a jingle bell send off at the end of the night," she explains. "Each one had a little thank you note tied on with ribbon, so that the guest could take it home and add it to their Christmas tree, like an ornament."

Paper Poppers

Alicia Fritz, wedding planner and owner of A Day in May Events, prefers a New Year's Eve-inspired favor. "We love traditional paper crackers with surprise treasures enclosed! They're a perfect item to include in a welcome bag or for a favor at a holiday wedding," she says. While there are plenty of options available for purchase, custom poppers ensure that your guests take home meaningful gifts. Anything from tasty treats to tiny vintage holiday toys or games would be well-received.

Warming Gifts

Wedding planner Amy Nichols suggests putting together an indulgent medley of ingredients for hot chocolate mix. Her favorite? Beekman 1802's Worldly Hot Chocolate Kit. If you're not into chocolate, you have other warming options. "Mulling spices could be a nice holiday-inspired favor, too," she adds. Whatever you do, just be sure to include a note with the mixture, thanking your guests for attending during the holiday season.
