Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Will Attend Princess Beatrice's Wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be settling into post-royal life in Canada, but Page Six reports that the duo will trek back across the pond to celebrate Princess Beatrice's wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29.
Prior to these current reports, many of their fans wondered whether the Sussexes would skip this year's royal nuptials, since rumors of disruption within the monarchy have been circulating. Nevertheless, it appears that the Duke and Duchess indeed intend to join the merriment in the gardens of Buckingham Palace following the ceremony at The Chapel Royal, St James's Palace.
For Prince Harry, attending his cousin's wedding won't be his first trip back to the United Kingdom since stepping back from the royal spotlight. He is currently in Scotland to attend a working summit in support of his environmental tourism initiative, Travalyst, People notes. This trip marks the former-royal's first journey back to his homeland since his groundbreaking decision to live independently of the Crown earlier this year.
While Prince Harry's royal HRH title was recently revoked, it seems that he is taking things one step further. The Duke of Sussex evidently "made it clear that we are all just to call him Harry," the summit's host said, reports Entertainment Tonight. According to the outlet, later in the event Lord Thurso, the Visit Scotland Chair, also said, "I was about to call him Your Royal Highness, but I’ll just introduce Harry!"
