We Got It Bad for Usher's Performance at This Wedding
He joined American Idol alum Brandon Rogers on the stage.
Usher played a special role at Miami Heat CEO Nick Arison's wedding to Jenna Green -and no, he wasn't an usher. The eight-time Grammy-winner acted as wedding singer, performing an impromptu rendition of his hit song "Yeah." American Idol season six alum Brandon Rogers and frontman for the band B. Random, called out Usher, a guest at the wedding, to come sing with them when "Scooter Braun came up to the stage and asked us for an Usher song," Rogers told Billboard. Braun, the groom's best man, is also Justin Bieber's manager.
"It was sort of impromptu … an unexpected surprise," Rogers said. That's our kind of surprise! Usher, in the green party hat, was all too happy to lend his voice, and looked like he had a great time trading verses with Rogers on the wedding band's stage.
Rogers has contributed back-up vocals to Usher in past tours and recording sessions and is no stranger to singing with celebrities. Aside from playing at weddings, Rogers and his band, B. Random, recently released a few songs on iTunes. Check them out here!
