Shopping for a wedding dress can be hard—especially when you've tried on many and still don't feel any closer to finding "the one." If there's one designer who knows exactly how you feel, it's Sareh Nouri who found herself in the same predicament in 2009. After trying on a number of different wedding dresses, she couldn't find one that had everything she wanted. Taking matters into her own hands, Nouri wound up designing her very own gown by putting her graphic design knowledge to use.
To ensure that no bride-to-be would have to feel the same frustration she experienced, she decided to launch her very own line. Nouri sets out to create gowns that embody romance, femininity, sophistication, and timelessness. While her looks err towards traditional, she also imbues modern touches with ethereal and whimsical details. This year, she brings that idea to life with her collection inspired by princesses. "The gowns we created are the perfect balance between opulent and tradition," she says in her pre-market video.
How does she achieve this? With classic details like long sleeves, demure off-the-shoulder necklines, and plenty of lace. However, Nouri also incorporates unexpected elements like subtly-hued satin capes and blue ribbons for a pop of color. If you're a bride who wants to look and feel like royalty on her big day, we suggest bookmarking one of the designs ahead. Your regal, yet modern ensemble is bound to be found in the Sareh Nouri Spring 2020 collection. Click through to see all of the gorgeous looks from the designer's newest line.
