After almost seven years of marriage, love is still very much in the air for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. The married couple has been going strong, Timberlake recently told Entertainment Tonight, but touched on how a recent hardship—in 2018, he was put on vocal rest, causing him to cancel many performances—brought them even closer together. "I think anybody out there, you know, you go through anything, to have somebody by your side to really go through it with you and get in the mud with you, so to speak, I'm sure you know what that's like," he told reporters.

The musician, actor, and proud parent to Silas, his four-year-old son with Biel, noted that his marriage is a commitment that will go the distance—and that it's changed him in ways he never expected. "It's like once you find that person, it's like a baptism, where you're like, 'I can't go back,' you know what I mean?" he said. "Like, I don't, I can't go back, so, which is what fatherhood's like too."

The happy couple began dating in 2007; their relationship was actually the result of a chance encounter. Timberlake revealed in his memoir, Hindsight & All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me, that he and Biel originally met at a celebrity gathering in Hollywood.

"We were at a surprise party in Hollywood at a speakeasy kind of a bar, a private club, and we were standing around in a group of people," he said. "I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her. We talked that night. The DJ played "Lucky Star," and we danced. And then she was gone." He mentioned that he didn't get her phone number that night, but made sure ask her for it when they reconnected at one of his concerts.
