Kate Middleton and Prince William Just Revealed Their Baby's Due Date
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April," read the announcement, released on Twitter. This timeline currently puts Middleton around four months along. The palace also revealed that William and Kate will spend the last trimester of her pregnancy on an official royal tour of Norway and Sweden. With travel on her horizon, there's hope that the Duchess of Cambridge's severe morning sickness, which she's battled with each of her pregnancies, will relent.
Middleton isn't out of the woods yet, but she was recently able to attend her first event since news of her pregnancy broke. The glowing Duchess debuted her baby bump in a blue lace Temperley London dress to celebrate World Mental Health Day at Buckingham palace. "The Duchess' condition is improving but she is still suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She is delighted to be able to be here tonight," an aide told reporters.
While we wait to hear more about the brand new royal baby-it's unlikely we'll know the little one's sex before he or she arrives-it's comforting to know that the couple's entire family is as excited as we are. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," Middleton's original pregnancy announcement read. Prince Harry just might be the happiest of all, though. He told reporters in September that the news was "fantastic, great," and said that he is "very, very happy" for his brother and sister-in-law.
