10 Beautiful Botanical Gardens That Are the Perfect Venue for Your Bridal Shower
Hold your dream garden party at one of these verdant venues.
Whether you're the mother of the bride-to-be, her maid of honor, or one of a group of bridesmaids tasked with planning the bridal shower, one of the first to-dos on your list will be choosing a date and selecting the venue. While her childhood backyard, favorite restaurant, or a cozy café are all nice options, we think a spring or summer celebration calls for a more seasonal party space. Our current favorite choice? A botanical garden. If you agree that a gorgeous green space packed with plenty of flora is just what your bride would want, you're in luck. We asked our friends at the Venue Report to help us curate a list of the most exceptionally beautiful botanical gardens for a bridal shower, and their final list does not disappoint.
As it turns out, there are a numbrt of different botanical gardens that host events all over the country, and you might be surprised to learn just how different each one looks. Is your bride a city slicker who lives for skyline views, there are two venues to bookmark: The first is a penthouse greenhouse located in Los Angeles, while the second is a rooftop green space overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. If a more authentic botanical garden feel is what you think she'd be happiest with, consider Michigan's Planterra Conservatory, where guests will dine and play games while surrounded by rare plants, flowers, and trees. There's also the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pennsylvania, which is the country's oldest and largest Victorian greenhouse.
No matter which botanical garden you choose, one things is all but guaranteed: The bride you're showering is in for one incredibly breathtaking celebration.
