Carolina Herrera
/*-->*/After recently celebrating 35 years in the business, it's safe to say Carolina Herrera knows a thing or two about designing wedding dresses. Her passion for fashion started early on: With both her mother and grandmother avid followers of fashion trends, it's no wonder that Mrs. Herrera developed an innate sense of style and glamour at a young age. Though she was born and raised in Venezuela, Mrs. Herrera often traveled to beautiful locales like Capri and Monaco, and mixed and mingled with many of the elite. She became well-known for her looks and was even named one of the best-dressed women in the world in 1980.
A year after making the exclusive best-dressed list, she delved into the fashion industry with a little encouragement from Vogue editor, Diana Vreeland. It was at the Metropolitan Museum in New York where she debuted her very first collection. In 1987, the year after she designed Caroline Kennedy iconic wedding dress, she debuted her first bridal collection. It's been all about timeless style and the utmost grace ever since.
Mrs. Herrera's designs dresses with an emphasis on making women feel beautiful. Her Spring 2018 collection, which she revealed New York City's bridal fashion week, continues to deliver class, poise, and sophistication. This time around, she offers tons of ladylike bows on fresh, modern silhouettes, and offered up on-trend off-the-shoulder necklines. Take a look at her Spring 2018 bridal collection and how Herrera continues to deliver timeless elegance with every dress.
