Many brides spend extra time primping before the big day, since all eyes will be on them at the wedding. That's especially true for celebrity brides, who not only have to impress their guests, but also want to wow the public. Princess Eugenie is the perfect example: The royal just dyed her hair a new color ahead of her marriage to Jack Brooksbank.

According to E! News, Eugenie stepped out as a newly-minted redhead on Wednesday, only two days before she's set to tie the knot at St. George's Chapel on Windsor Castle's grounds. While Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter has sported copper locks before, fans point out that this saturated shade of red appears to be a new hue for the royal.

Of course, the color isn't that surprising. After all, red hair runs in the royal family. Prince Harry-St. George's Chapel's last famous groom-is known for it, as is Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, who also has rich red locks. Nonetheless, many are questioning Eugenie's last-minute decision. The reason? Soon-to-be brides are usually advised not to make drastic beauty changes in the days leading up to their nuptials.

It seems that Eugenie likes to rebel against traditional wedding etiquette. For example, she also took a major risk when choosing her reception venue. Despite the fact that October is one of the rainiest months in England, she and Jack are hosting their party outside. Hopefully, if the weather rebels, their marquee-style tent will provide enough coverage.
