Beyoncé's Dad Confirms the Twins Have Arrived
The Carters are a family of five!
Beyoncé has given birth to twins! The multi-talented singer and her husband Jay Z, who have wanted to grow their family for some time now, welcomed the newest additions to their family just in time for Father's Day, and Bey's parents just confirmed the big news. Plus, we even have a guess (or two) at the babies' genders.
While sources confirmed the twins' arrival in a Los Angeles hospital Saturday, it wasn't until Matthew Knowles took to social media that we had a firsthand update on the news. "They're here! #beyonce #jayz #happybirthday," Beyoncé's father wrote on Instagram and Twitter along with a graphic that read "Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad."
More confirmation that this update is real? Bey's mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, liked the post. And while Beyoncé and Jay Z have yet to comment on the twins' arrival, Jay Z and Blue Ivy were spotted together at a Los Angeles area hospital on Thursday-and according to E! News an unidentified woman bearing a pretty impressive balloon and floral display entered the same hospital the very next day. The balloons themselves? One read "Baby Boy" and the other read "Baby Girl" and a card attached to the arrangement included a clearly-written "B + J" on the envelope.
While we can't wait for the songstress herself to share an update on the newest additions to the Carter family (especially after that amazing pregnancy reveal back in February!), it's starting to look like an adorable little boy and little girl have joined the growing family. We bet Blue Ivy will be the best big sister around. Congratulations to the Carters on their sweet bundles of joy!
