"Boy Meets World" Star Danielle Fishel Is Engaged!
The actress, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence, announced the news on Instagram.
Congratulations are in order for former Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel! The actress, who is best known for her portrayal of Topanga Lawrence, took to Instagram to reveal news of her recent engagement. In a photo of her and her fiancé, Jensen Karp, the bride-to-be shows off her brand-new ring, reported People.
"I woke up today thinking it would be a normal day and it was anything but normal," Fishel wrote in the caption. "I put on my Genghis Cohen t-shirt and went to see @jensenclan88 at work where I proceeded to screw up a very romantic marriage proposal by being too efficient (this is very on brand for me). The future Mr. and Mrs. Karp are now engaged and no one is more excited than I am."
Karp, the writer of the TBS show Drop the Mic, shared the same photo and revealed that he and Fishel have known each other for years. "We got engaged today. I don't have anything witty or funny to say to accompany this picture. She is just the greatest person in the world and to imagine someone I went to high school with was always my person, is remarkable. You never know," he wrote.
The happy couple also shared their exciting news with Karp's cast and crew, as evidenced by Drop the Mic co-host Hailey Baldwin's Instagram Story. "We have a Drop the Mic engagement!!" she wrote, sharing a photo of flowers and a celebratory food spread. While the pair's meet-cute and ensuing relationship has yet to be revealed, the Normally, This Would Be Cause for Concern author announced that she and Karp were a couple on Instagram in June 2017.
