From Sketch to Reality: A Look at Sofia Vergara's Fall 2015 Cover Shoot Dresses
These wedding dresses are as beautiful as the designers imagined!
For our Fall 2015 Style Issue, Sofía Vergara wore the season's most spectacular new dresses in a spectrum of shades, from classic white to gorgeous gold. See how they evolved from a designer sketch to real life wedding gown.
While this Chantilly lace gown's illusion neckline is front and center on our Fall 2015 cover, we also love the rest of the details the Barcelona-based designer included like the plunging back and body-skimming silhouette.

Carolina Herrera modified this silk-gazaar gown with a ruffled, tiered skirt from her Fall 2015 RTW collection for the actress.
A romantic and lucky "something blue," this strapless gown manages to be both classic and unexpected ($7,990, 323-782-9090). "It made me feel like a princess," says Vergara. "It's for the bride who wants to look impeccable."
One of the best new wedding dress designers on the scene, this Parisian created a romantic and vintage-inspired gown for Vergara with intricate mesh, lace, and tulle details.
The actress stuns on sight in this Celestina Agostino gown ($6,355) and her signature look—flowing waves, smoky eyes, a rose-colored mouth. "Usually you see wedding dresses with light makeup," says Vergara. "Red lipstick makes it modern and exciting."
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the design duo behind the label, modified a romantic strapless ball gown from their Spring 2016 bridal collection for the actress. Floral appliqué and a sweeping train were the perfect finishing touches.
A snowy strapless like Marchesa's floral-appliquéd tulle "Gardenia" ball gown is one way to get a bridal glow (price upon request). Red lips are another. "When you have that pop of color on the mouth, it really calls attention to and brightens your face," says Vergara.

For a princess-meets-red carpet look, Monique Lhuillier created this purple gown for Vergara with beautiful beading and a sexy deep-v neckline.
