Mariah Carey Brought New Beau Bryan Tanaka to a Wedding
Who would have thought things between Mariah Carey and backup dancer Bryan Tanaka would heat up this quick? This past weekend, Mariah attended and performed at a wedding in London and brought Tanaka as her plus one. Mariah and Sir Elton John were hired to sing at a Russian billionaire's granddaughter's wedding at The Landmark Hotel, TMZ reports. While this duo are pretty epic wedding singers-they were not cheap. The two were paid $4.2 million!
Mariah, who was requested by the groom, was flown in from America with Tanaka. She sang "We Belong Together" to the newlyweds. In true Mariah fashion, the singer wore two outfits for the performance-one, a gold sequined gown and the other was a sexy black leather dress with slits up the side. But it was Mariah's guest outfit that caused some raised eyebrows.
The all-black lingerie-inspired outfit had a see-through low-cut top and thigh-high slit paired with heels. No doubt is this a very Mariah outfit-but for a wedding? Might not be the best look for a formal celebration. Even Tanaka, in black pants, t-shirt and blazer, didn't look all that formal. But who really cares when they look so incredibly happy.
Speaking of Mimi's new beau, bringing him overseas for a wedding definitely means the two are getting serious. Rumors have been swirling that since Mariah and ex-fiancé James Packer broke up, she and Tanaka have been hanging out more and more. A source told ET that the two are in "a proper relationship" now. "She's really into Bryan. He's with her 24/7. He's a nice guy."
