Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Want Kids Right Away
Starting a family is a top priority for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
If there's anything that we've learned from listening to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talk about each other, it's that their bond is grounded in shared values. One of those personal commonalities involve children-they both want them very much. According to an Us Weekly source, their plans for starting a family are already underway.
"Having children is definitely a priority," the insider explained. "She and Harry want to start a family right away-and she'll start trying as soon as she can." Although "they both can't wait to start a family," continued the source, "Harry and Meghan won't rush into anything." The reason has everything to do with royal life. "They have a lot on their plate right now. But they both think that when the moment feels right, that will be the time to go for it. They'll make fantastic parents."
The Duchess, especially, is primarily focused on integrating into her new role-something Queen Elizabeth is taking just as seriously. Meghan and the Queen are scheduled for several one-on-one public appearances in Cheshire next week, which they'll travel to via the royal train. According to Ingrid Seward, the author of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's new biography, My Husband & I, the time in between those engagements will reportedly be used as informal training sessions so that the monarch can provide a "steadying hand" to the newest member of her family.
