Kellan Lutz Has Officially Confirmed His Engagement
And he can't stop talking about his future wife.
After much speculation, Kellan Lutz has finally admitted that he is engaged to his girlfriend, Brittany Gonzales. During an apperance on Steve, host Steve Harvey was talking to Lutz and referred to Gonzales as the actor's fiancée, E! News reports. Instead of correcting him, the Twilight actor simply said, "Yep."
That's all the confirmation we needed, but Lutz took things a step further by saying his new fiancé is "the light of my life." He also agreed with Harvey when the host said that Lutz he hit the jackpot with Gonzales.
Though the couple tends to stay out of the spotlight, they're not shy about sharing their love on social media. Lutz recently posted a photo of his new fiancé in a NASA sweatshirt, captioning it, "You make living on this beautiful earth feel like every day is out of this world."
The pair has been dating for over a year, which Lutz acknowledged in an Instagram post in December, saying then that he knew she was the one from the very beginning. "Over a year ago, in a season of being single, I wrote a letter to God with all the qualities I truly wanted in my future wife," he wrote. "I stayed strong, I pressed in, I fixed some things I didn't know I needed to fix, and after a period of prayer, patience and perseverance, He brought her into my life in the most beautiful of ways. I now know what true love looks like! I knew it the moment I saw her. She is the love of my life."
It was rumored that the couple was engaged in mid-September when a fan overheard them talking about wedding plans and spotted an engagement ring on the bride-to-be's finger. Now that Lutz has confirmed it, we can't wait to hear all the details.
