Is Bethenny Frankel Engaged?!
Bethenny Frankel seriously knows how to make headlines. Early this morning, the Real Housewives star posted a photo on her Instagram story-photos and videos on your Instagram profile that only stick around for 24 hours-with a giant diamond ring on that finger in full view! Her left hand, wrapped around boyfriend-and potential fiancé-banker Dennis Shields's neck, revealed what looked like a huge square-cut diamond flanked by two emerald-cut diamonds on the sides.
Frankel met Shields 27 years ago when he dated and married one of her friends from high school. Though she and her friend don't keep in touch, Frankel and Shields share many mutual friends and began dating a few months after his separation. "We've both been married and separated," Frankel shared with People. "So we're a perfect match. Like everything else in my life, I'm owning it." The only problem? Shields might still be legally married to his ex-but that doesn't mean an engagement to Frankel isn't possible.
"My personal life is exactly where I want it to be right now," she told the magazine. "I haven't been this happy in a really long time and I'm continuing with my policy of not involving anybody in my relationships, because it certainly has served me wrong in the past," says Frankel. "I want to keep it private for as long as I can." Well, Bethenny, is that private time over? From what we could gather with that Instagram photo, it seems like she's ready to share her love and potential engagement with the world!
Update: People has reported that Frankel is in fact not engaged. An inside source and friend of the RHONY star said, "Bethenny is happy and enjoying her summer," but (probably) won't be getting married any time soon.
