You can't go wrong with a ring made from this classic metal.

Sometimes, simple is better, and this notion certainly applies to your wedding band. After all, it is a piece of jewelery you intend to wear for the rest of your life, so choosing a timeless, classic, goes-with-everything style is usually a smart idea. Whether you're a minimalist at heart, are looking for a more practical ring, or admire sleek simplicity, gold wedding bands are an excellent choice. Just because you're opting for an all-metal wedding band doesn't mean that your ring has to be boring—from even the slightest etching to more out-there sculptural designs, there are plenty of fun ways to make a classic style all your own.
Let's start with what we found for the traditionalists: Pretty much any jeweler will offer a classic gold wedding band in a variety of sizes, widths, and finishes (from polished to matte), and our favorites include Tiffany & Co.'s classic band, Cartier's 1895 style, and Blue Nile's simple gold option. If you're enamored with the idea of a textured look, try finding something with milgrain etching or a hammered finish, like Cathy Waterman's hammered ring or Ila's delicate ridged gold band. Grace Lee offers an ultra-unique "lace" band, with scalloped milgrain gold forming a lace-inspired design that is sure to stand out on its own.
Size can also make a big difference when it comes to ensure your gold wedding band feels unique to you. If you're on the market for something delicate and dainty, there are plenty of ultra-thin styles, like Bario Neal's "Aldine" braided band. On the flip side, you can also go extra wide, with Zoe Chicco's 8mm wide flat ring.
