Get a Sneak Peek at Our New Issue!
Our annual Real Weddings & Honeymoons special issue is on stands now, and we're giving you an insider's look at all the good stuff packed within its pages.
Real bride Amanda Gorski and her nine attendants grace our cover, which was shot by Aaron Delesie, a wedding photographer whose work has been featured in our pages too many times to count. Amanda, a Houston-based interior designer, surprised her 'maids with a flower-crown-making class at a bridal luncheon the day before she said "I do" to Marty Snyder in Marfa, Texas, last fall. Each made a wreath using ranunculus, garden roses, jasmine, scabiosa, and andromedas to wear to the ceremony. The results, as you can see, were simply amazing.
That's just one of the beautiful celebrations featured in this issue. Our very own design director, Michael McCormick, married his long-time love in a city-chic party in Philadelphia. Other couples chose locations as diverse as Ireland, Hawaii, Barbados, and Cape Cod for their one-of-a-kind vows.
Haven't decided on a honeymoon spot just yet? Don't worry; we've got you covered there, too. We break down the best places to follow your bliss, whether that's eating your way through Tuscany, roaming the rain forest in Costa Rica, soaking in the healing hot springs of Bath, England, or simply lazing on a secluded beach in southern Brazil. You'll also find inspiration and indispensable advice from the real couples who shared their honeymoon experiences with us.
What else can you expect? Hair and makeup secrets from former MSW-featured brides, along with the products you need to pull off similar looks. We also have a primer on how to hire the right floral designer for your day. Speaking of flowers, you'll find five fresh new ways for using them to decorate your cake. And we show off the most gorgeously intricate gowns, each with a unique, showstopping detail.
