Nikki Bella and John Cena's Wedding Will Be a "Massive Celebration"
Get ready for champagne towers and fireworks.
Nikki Bella and John Cena are pulling out all the stops for their black-tie wedding. The Dancing with the Stars competitor appeared on Access Hollywood on Thursday, where she revealed a few of her and Cena's luxurious wedding plans.
"When I saw Kate Moss' Champagne tower from her wedding, I was like, 'Okay, check, I want that,'" she said. "I want fireworks. Who wouldn't want fireworks?" For Bella, the decision to go big is a nod to her and Cena's five-year-long relationship. "Do you understand how long I waited for this?" she said, pointing to her engagement ring. "This is a massive celebration."
The reality TV star disclosed that she was planning a fancy, classic fête back in August, and also added that fans would be able to watch the ceremony. "We're hoping for season three of Total Bellas," she said, which would include footage of her wedding day. It's looking like production might be pushed back a bit, though, since the couple recently announced a few major wedding day modifications. "We changed the date and location," Bella told People, after a recent DWTS performance. One thing is for certain, though-the bride-to-be still plans on wearing a Marchesa wedding dress down the aisle.
The professional wrestlers became engaged in April, when Cena proposed to Bella after a partner match. Cena brought his girlfriend to the center of the ring on live television before dropping down onto one knee. "I've been waiting so long to ask you this," he said. "Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?" After accepting, Bella shared the happy news on Instagram. "I never thought I would use this emoji," she wrote, alongside the engagement ring icon.
