You didn't think they'd stay out of the cameras for too long, did you? Fan favorite Bachelor Ben Higgins and his fiancée Lauren Bushnell are back with a new reality show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After, set to air on Freeform this fall. The unscripted show will start filming over the summer and will focus on the couple's life in Denver, including their wedding-planning journey.

The Ultimate Wedding-Planning Timeline

A life in front of cameras is something the duo is definitely accustomed to: "After you walk away from The Bachelor, it's not like your life becomes private. People still find out what you're doing, so it's not changing our life to be public," Higgins explained to Us Weekly. Bushnell agreed, saying, "We're already used to sharing our lives with everyone else, so we thought, 'Why not?' It's a fun way to share life after The Bachelor."

Bushnell moved to Denver to live with Higgins in April, four months after accepting his proposal. "Starting a life together is never going to be this supersmooth transition," Higgins said. "It's going to have rocky edges at times, but I love coming home to her at the end of the day."

"Our life has been a whirlwind," Bushnell added. "That is really something we want to focus on over the next few months." That includes making plans for their wedding and Higgins' run for Colorado public office. The ex-Bachelor confirmed that he will be running for a Republican seat in the Colorado House of Representatives in November. "I've always had an interest in politics," said Higgins. "I do a lot of work with a nonprofit called Humanity & Hope United [which aids struggling towns]. People reach out to me about community development and planning and how to counsel places that need help. At its core, that's politics-dealing with issues we face as community."
