Raven-Symoné tied the knot to her longtime love, Miranda Pearman-Maday, nearly one month ago, and she couldn't be more excited for their future. While the actress is known for keeping her personal life private, she has become decidedly more open since getting married, something she calls "one of the biggest and happiest" moments of her life, Good Morning America reports. Symoné initially broke the wedding news on Instagram in mid-June, captioning a photo: "I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home."

Openly embracing the new journey, Symoné is now sharing what makes life so exciting with her wife. "Miranda makes me feel confident and empowered in an entirely new way," she told People. "We planned our ceremony together and it was a true reflection of our love and partnership."

The pair marked the milestone with an intimate ceremony, and the actress noted that it meant the world to have the support of her loved ones on their big day. "Thank you to all those who helped and for those who understand why it was small during this time," she captioned an Instagram post. She also thanked her fans for the love as they mark this next step. "The outpouring of love and congratulations have filled our hearts immensely. Thank you to everyone!" she wrote.

Now newly married, Symoné is ready to embark on her journey with her spouse and "make new plans" in their life together. "We get to create an empire for ourselves," she said. "We get to map out our future in ways that we want."
