It's been a few months since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged, and now the actress is sharing why she said "yes" to the pop star so quickly. According to Us Weekly, the former Quantico star said that their whirlwind proposal was the result of the couple's ultimate compatibility. "I didn't think it would be so easy to be with someone," she revealed at the 2018 Tiffany Blue Book launch party. "That's the best part about it. He makes everything so easy."

Chopra also opened up about her dazzling 4-carat diamond engagement ring. Just discussing it makes her "all blush and girly and giggly," she said. "It's really elegant and he did really well. He knew what I would like."

Jonas shut down an entire Tiffany's store in London to pick out the ring, and, after only two months of dating, asked Chopra to marry him. The proposal came as a total surprise to the Bollywood star, who met her now-fiancé years prior. But their bond was rock-solid-the result of their shared priorities. "The one thing we really connect on is our love for family and knowing that faith is so important to us," she told E! News. As for how that connection has changed now that she and Jonas are engaged? "I never realized that having a boyfriend and having a fiancé are completely different," she explained. "It just feels different. There's gravitas. You feel like family, which is just so different."

Both family and faith will be at the forefront of their impending nuptials, which will blend Indian and Western traditions. These tenets were prefaced at their engagement party this summer, which is where their parents and families met for the first time. Chopra's mom later spoke out with high regards for her future son-in-law, calling him a "wonderful person" that is "calm and mature." And she may have more to rave about-her daughter and Jonas reportedly can't wait to have kids. "They are going to wait till after the wedding to start trying. But it's definitely on the agenda," added another Us Weekly source.
