Jessica Biel on Her Marriage to Justin Timberlake and Motherhood
Jessica Biel may be an all-star actress, but that doesn't mean her off-screen life has come without its share of learning curves. And the actress, who's featured on the latest cover of Marie Claire, is opening up about the details of two of her own real-life essentials: marriage and motherhood.
"You think you're a selfless person, and then you realize you're not," Biel shared of her own experience as a new mom, according to People. "These little people come around, and they require so much, and your schedule is really not your own…and it's very clear that it's your life now revolving around this dude." The Sinner star also added that she isn't the person who feels like her whole life has changed for her kid, but admitted, "But it does."
As for her marriage with husband and fellow celebrity Justin Timberlake? Biel shared a few secrets to their successful relationship (the pair dated for five years before tying the knot in 2012). "We have similar values," she said. "We believe in loyalty, honesty. We like to have fun. We like a lot of the same things."
She also mentioned their careers as a potential relationship struggle-although in this couple's case, their approach to business is a relationship strength. "Also, in the business, we're all very career-oriented, and you have to be a little selfish," Biel admitted. "I understand that about my peers-about being focused and driven-and if you can find that and someone who shares the same values as you, it's like: Score!"
We'll just add these two to our ever-growing list of celebrity couples we can't help but admire. Total #relationshipgoals, right?
